Devliv Foundation

We are set up in DLF Phase-III at U-61/28. If you’ve spent any time in Gurgaon, you know how busy Phase-III can get. Our place isn't huge, but it's enough for what we do at Devliv Foundation. It’s mostly just us sitting around a couple of tables, working on whatever projects are on the list for the week. There’s a lot of coming and going since people are always dropping by. It’s not a corporate setup. We don't wear suits or have long meetings that don't go anywhere. Usually, we just talk about what needs to be done while we're grabbing lunch. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we first got here. More buildings, more cars, more noise. But we like being in the middle of it. It makes us feel connected to the city. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it. We handle a lot of the foundation's day-to-day stuff ourselves. We don't hire out for every little thing. It's a hands-on kind of place. If something needs fixing, one of us usually finds a screwdriver and does it. We’ve been here for a bit now and we know the local chai stall owner pretty well. It’s a simple life. We just want to do our part without making a big deal out of it. It takes time, but we don't mind the effort one bit. Most evenings, we finish up and walk to the local market for supplies.
