Centre Of Performing Art

The Centre Of Performing Art is located in Gurgaon Village, specifically in DLF Phase-3 at U-26/3114. It’s an interesting spot because it’s tucked into the village area while being surrounded by the massive skyscrapers of the modern city. Finding our door can be a little tricky if you aren't familiar with the lane numbers in the U-block. Inside, you’ll hear the sounds of people practicing their craft, whether it's music or movement. The floors are worn down from years of use, and the walls have seen a lot of different people come and go. It’s a bit of a maze getting around, but that’s just the charm of being in this part of Gurgaon. We don't have any polished lobby or fancy lighting; it is just a raw space for art to happen. The heat in the summer can be tough, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving while people work on their performances. Students come from all over the NCR to spend time here. We just provide the space and the environment for them to do what they need to do. It feels more like a community center than a formal institution. There’s usually a bit of chaos with people arriving for different sessions, but we manage to keep it all going in our own way. It is a place where people focus on their practice.
