Brahma Auto Industries Pvt Ltd is based out of Udyog Vihar, specifically at Plot No 1 and 2 in Sector 37, Phase 6. This is a big industrial area, so there are trucks and workers everywhere you look. We have a fairly large space here where we manufacture different parts for the auto industry. It’s a lot of heavy machinery and the smell of oil and cut metal. The guys on the floor work in shifts to keep things moving. It isn't a quiet place by any means; there’s always the sound of stamping or grinding going on. We spend a lot of time checking the pieces that come off the line to make sure they aren't warped or broken. Sometimes the raw material delivery is late, and then we have to work double time to catch up. The office part of the building is just a few desks near the front where we keep the logs. It gets dusty very quickly because of all the construction nearby. We eat our lunch in a small room at the back where it’s a bit quieter. Being in Phase 6 means we are a bit far from the main markets, so we usually bring our own food. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially in the summer heat. We just focus on getting the orders out to the warehouses on time. It’s what we’ve done for years now.
