Bhalla Batteries

Driving down Sikandarpur MG Road 2, you might see our sign. Batteries of all sizes are lined up inside and some are stacked right near the entrance. It’s a noisy spot because of all the traffic on MG Road, but the sound of horns is just normal to us now. Most of the day is spent testing voltages or lugging heavy casings around. It’s tough on the back but it keeps everyone busy. We don’t have any slick office space here. Just a counter, some basic tools, and rows of black and red boxes. Sometimes people stop by in a real hurry because their car won’t start, and those are the moments when things get fast. We just grab the jumper cables or the tester and see what's wrong. The air always smells a bit like lead and old plastic, which is just part of the job. Having been at this location for a while, we know most of the other shop owners nearby. It’s a tight-knit spot even with all the cars rushing past all day. We don’t bother with much in the way of decoration. The walls are mostly covered with old calendars and stacks of handwritten receipts. It’s a simple setup for a simple job. Making sure the engine actually turns over is the main thing for us. That’s pretty much the whole story of Bhalla Batteries. We are just local folks working on the main road.
