Batra Nursing Home

Out here on Khandsa Road, things are always moving. Our nursing home is located at 641/17, and if you are looking for us, we are right near S D High School. You can often hear the kids playing or the bell ringing during the day. Shivaji Nagar is a busy part of Gurgaon, and we’ve seen the area change a lot over the years. We are just a local spot where people come when they aren't feeling well. The front desk is usually piled with folders and the phone rings more than we’d like, but that’s just how it is. We have a few rooms for patients to stay in, and they are pretty basic but clean. Our staff lives mostly nearby, so we know the local shortcuts and where to get the best tea during a break. It gets quite hot in the summer, so the fans are always spinning. We don't have any big neon signs or anything like that. People mostly find us because they live in the neighborhood or their neighbors told them about us. It can be a bit noisy with the traffic from the road, but inside we try to keep it as calm as possible for the patients. We deal with all sorts of things, from minor fevers to people needing a bit more care. It’s a steady life here in Shivaji Nagar, just taking things one day at a time. We hope to be here for many more years as a part of the street.
