Bakespace Llp

Bakespace Llp is tucked away at D 002 on the ground floor of Park View City in Sector 48. Since we are in a residential area of Gurugram, we see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. Our space is mostly taken up by ovens and big stainless steel tables where we prep all the baking stuff. It’s not a huge place, and it can get pretty cramped when we have a big batch of orders to get through. The ground floor location is handy for moving heavy bags of flour in and out, but we have to be careful not to make too much noise and bother the people living upstairs. The kitchen gets really hot once the ovens have been running for a few hours, so we usually have the back door open to get some air. We’ve got flour on our aprons most of the time, and the floor is almost never completely clean no matter how many times we sweep it. It’s a lot of early mornings, sometimes starting while it’s still dark outside, to make sure everything is ready. We don't really have a polished way of talking about ourselves. We just like the way the dough feels and the way the place smells in the morning. It’s hard work on your feet all day, but we’ve managed to make it work in this little corner of Gurgaon.
