You can find our place out at the 39-40 Km Stone on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. It is a big spot in Narsingpur. The traffic out here on the highway never really stops, so there is always a background hum of trucks and cars passing by at all hours. We have got a lot of space at this site, which is helpful because the parts we deal with tend to take up quite a bit of room. The office is right near the front, but most of us spend our time back in the sheds where the actual work happens. It gets pretty dusty with the highway being so close, so we are constantly having to wipe down the machines and the windows. We have been operating from this location for quite a few years now. It is a convenient spot for shipping things out since we are right on the main road. Most of the staff lives in the nearby areas, so they don’t have to spend too much time traveling. We aren’t really into the whole corporate vibe. We mostly just focus on getting the daily production schedule finished. Some days are much more hectic than others, especially when a big delivery of steel arrives at the same time as a shipment is leaving for a customer. We just drink our tea, talk about the day's tasks, and get back to the floor. The machinery is loud and it is a long walk from one end of the yard to the other. We just keep our heads down.
