Arkhion Design Pvt. Ltd is based out of House No. 26 here in Gurgaon. We’ve been in this spot in Haryana for a good bit of time. The address is 122001, right in the heart of things, but our office feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. That’s because it actually is a house. We like it that way because it’s quieter and we don't have to deal with those big office park elevators. Usually, there’s a pile of blueprints near the entrance and someone is always looking for a lost pen. We do our design work on the main floor. It’s nothing fancy, just a bunch of desks and some decent lighting. Sometimes the internet acts up or the courier is late, but we manage. We aren’t out here making big speeches about the future of design. We just sit down, open our laptops, and get to work on the projects people send us. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. The neighborhood is okay, though it gets a bit dusty when there’s construction nearby. We keep the kettle going for tea and mostly just stick to our tasks. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just us at house 26 doing what we know how to do. It isn't always perfect, but the work gets done and we keep the files organized.
