Ankur Industries

Ankur Industries is situated at Plot No.-71 in Sector-18. It is a standard industrial sector, so we are surrounded by similar-looking plots and a lot of grey buildings. Our space is functional and basic. We have a large metal door that screeches every time someone opens it. Inside, it is mostly open space with machines lined up along the walls. We do not have fancy office furniture. Most of our chairs are mismatched and the desks are scratched up from years of use. There is always a smell of oil and metal in the air, which we do not even notice anymore. We spend our days mostly on our feet. The ceiling is high, which makes it cold in the winter and very hot during the summer months. We have a few big fans that help a little bit. Sector-18 is a busy place, especially when the shifts change and everyone is out on the road. We usually stay late to finish up whatever needs to be shipped out the next day. The phone rings a lot, and half the time we have to yell over the machines to be heard. It is not a glamorous job, but we have been doing it a long time. We know the rhythms of the machines and the sounds they make when they need oil. It is just a regular workshop where we put in the hours and go home tired.
