Ahmed Hospital

This hospital is located in Sector-15 Part-2, right opposite Rail Vihar. It’s a pretty recognizable building in this part of town. We stay busy throughout the day because of all the residential blocks surrounding us. The main entrance is usually crowded with people coming and going. Inside, the floors are white and have that specific smell of cleaning supplies that you find in most medical places. We have several floors, and the stairs get more use than the lift most days. The staff here works in shifts, so there is always someone around, even late at night when the streets outside go quiet. Being across from Rail Vihar means we get a lot of people from those apartments. The waiting area has rows of plastic chairs, and there is usually a news channel playing on the small TV in the corner, though nobody really watches it. We focus on getting people admitted or treated as quickly as the paperwork allows. It’s not a fancy corporate setup; it feels more like a local landmark. The doctors have their own small offices, and the nurses are always moving back and forth between the wards. We deal with all sorts of cases, from emergencies to routine things. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the beds are ready and the pharmacy has what is needed. We just keep our heads down and do the work until the next shift change comes along and we finally go home.
