Afro Asian Engineers

Afro Asian Engineers is based at D 2003 in the Ansal Palam Vihar area of Gurgaon. It’s part of the NCR, so things are always moving fast, but Palam Vihar has a slightly slower feel compared to the big glass towers near the highway. Our office is a bit of a mix between an engineering workshop and a regular workspace. You’ll find rolls of drawings and technical manuals scattered around most of the tables. We have been here for a good amount of time, long enough to see Haryana change quite a bit. The building is older, but it is solid. We don’t have any polished floors or bright neon lights. Most of the time, the place is filled with the hum of computers and the sound of people debating over some technical detail or another. It can get a bit messy, especially when we are in the middle of a big project, but we manage to find what we need eventually. We aren’t really interested in looking like a big corporate firm. We are engineers, and we care more about the numbers and the plans than how the lobby looks. The staff mostly comes from the surrounding neighborhoods, so we are a local bunch. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, day after day, in this little corner of Gurgaon.
