Our place, Adi Automotive Pvt. Ltd., is out in Manesar at Plot No. 416 in Sector- 8. Manesar is mostly industrial, so we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. It’s a lot of grey buildings and trucks moving in and out all day long. We work on automotive parts, which is a greasy and loud business most of the time. Our building is a basic structure that gets the job done. Inside, there is the sound of machines and people shouting over the noise. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a quiet meeting. We spend our time checking parts and making sure the inventory is right. The commute to Gurgaon can be a pain with the traffic on the highway, but we are used to it by now. We started this because we know cars and how they work. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s steady. Sometimes we sit outside during the lunch break just to see the sun and get away from the grease for a few minutes. The office part is just a small corner with some old desks and a computer that’s a bit slow when we try to load the inventory files. We don't have any big slogans on the walls. We just focus on getting the orders out to the people who need them. It’s just us, doing the work every day in Sector- 8. We’ve been here for a while and plan to stay for a lot longer.
