Accountant Taneja

We spend most of our days here in DLF City E-8/12 dealing with stacks of papers and tax forms. It gets pretty busy around March, like any other accounting place in Gurgaon. I’ve been doing this for a while now, sitting at the same desk, looking at numbers until they start to blur. Most of the people who come in are neighbors or local shop owners who just want their GST sorted without too much fuss. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few chairs and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. It's often quiet except for the sound of the ceiling fan and the occasional phone call from someone asking about a late filing. We don't really do big advertisements because people usually find us by word of mouth anyway. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner drops by and we take a short break. It is mostly just honest work, making sure the entries match the bank statements. We see a lot of the same faces every year. It’s funny how you get to know people through their receipts and bills. Living and working in the same area means I see my clients at the market too. We don't use a lot of fancy software for everything, sometimes a pen and a calculator still feel more reliable. It’s just how we run things here at Accountant Taneja.
