Down in Sector 5 Part 3 of Gurgaon, you’ll find our place at 33 B. It’s right in the heart of the industrial side of things where everyone is busy making something or other. Our focus is on two-wheelers, and the workshop is usually filled with the sound of machines and the smell of metal and grease. It’s a large enough space but it always feels a bit cramped because of all the frames and parts we have stored everywhere. We aren't the type to sit in air-conditioned offices all day. Most of us are out on the floor, checking how things are being put together or moving heavy components from one side to the other. Haryana gets really cold in the winter and incredibly hot in the summer, so the environment in the plant changes with the seasons, but the work never stops. We have been part of the North India manufacturing scene for a while now, and we’ve seen how the demand for bikes has grown. It’s a tough job and at the end of the shift, we’re all pretty tired, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished product ready to go out. We don't go for flashy displays; we just let the work speak for itself. It’s about the nuts and bolts, the welding, and making sure everything is tight before it leaves our gates here in Gurgaon.
