A. B. C. Leathers

A. B. C. Leathers is based at 875 in Udyog Vihar, Phase-Iv. It’s a standard industrial building in a sea of other industrial buildings. The area is always busy with big trucks moving in and out, and the air usually smells like dust and exhaust. Inside our unit, the smell changes to that heavy, earthy scent of leather. It’s a large space with high ceilings and a concrete floor that shows the wear and tear of many years of work. We have a small office section partitioned off near the front, but most of the square footage is dedicated to the materials and the processing area. The desks in the office are metal and a bit rusty around the edges, and the computers are a few years old. We don’t really go in for decorations or anything that doesn't serve a purpose. There’s a big clock on the wall that ticks quite loudly, marking the hours as we go through the orders. We have a few big pedestal fans that we move around depending on where people are working. The water cooler is the main gathering spot, especially during the summer months when it gets incredibly hot under the tin roof. We aren't a big corporation with many layers of management; it’s just a few of us making sure the work is done. We stick to our schedule and try to get everything loaded before the evening traffic hits the main highway.
