We are located at TCI House, which is building number 69 in the Institutional Area of Sector-32 in Gurgaon. This area is quite different from our older offices because it’s much more modern and organized with paved roads. Even so, the work inside is still the same kind of busy. As part of the XPS division, we handle a lot of the express logistics for the company. The building is quite large and we have several floors of people working on various things. It’s a bit more professional-looking here, but if you look at our desks, they are still covered in the same messy stacks of paperwork and half-empty tea cups. We have a lot of meetings about schedules and routes, trying to figure out the best way to move things around the country. Outside, the roads are wider than in the old city, but the Gurgaon traffic is still a challenge during the rush hours in the evening. We see a lot of people coming in for corporate deliveries since we are in such a business-heavy area. It’s a fast-paced environment and we are always looking at the clock to meet deadlines. We don’t really have time for anything flashy, we just keep our heads down and manage the data and the physical goods. It feels like we are at the center of everything here, especially with so many other companies nearby in the same sector.
