We have been here at No. 352 Udyog Vihar Phase-2 for a while now. Most days start early because the factory floor gets busy quite fast. If you walk into our place, you will see rolls of heavy fabric and people cutting patterns for jackets and sweaters. It is not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. Some of us have worked together for ten years. The building is okay, but it gets a bit dusty with all the trucks moving around in the industrial area. We handle a lot of winter items throughout the year even when it is hot outside. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit around and talk until the generator starts. It is mostly local people working here. We use old machines that still work fine if you know how to handle them. Usually, we are just busy keeping up with the schedules and making sure the boxes are packed correctly. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is when everyone takes a break. It is a simple setup really. There is nothing much to look at, just people working with cloth and thread. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the stock piles up in the corners. It is just how things go when you are making so many different sizes and styles for the season.
