Wilhelm Textiles India Pvt. Ltd. is located right off the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. You have to look for the 38Th Km Mile Stone to find the turn. We are technically in Village Khandsa on Behrampur Road. It’s an industrial area, so there are trucks moving around all the time. Working here means dealing with a lot of dust from the highway, but we are used to it by now. We deal with textiles and it’s a fairly large operation compared to some of the smaller shops nearby. Most days are just about managing the production lines and making sure everything is moving on schedule. It’s a lot of work and sometimes things get a bit chaotic when shipments are going out. We have been at this location for some time. The village nearby has changed quite a bit since we started. People come from all over to work here. It’s not a quiet place, that’s for sure. The noise from the machines is pretty constant during the shifts. We don’t spend a lot of time making things look pretty; it’s a factory first. We just focus on the fabric and the orders that come in. If you are driving down the highway, you might miss the turn if you aren't watching the markers. We stay busy and that’s how we like it. Just regular people doing a job at Wilhelm Textiles. It's a living.
