Our facility is out at plot 64 in the HSIDC area of Sector-18. It’s a typical industrial zone with big metal gates and wide roads that get really dusty when the wind picks up. We focus on personal care products here. It’s a big shift from the beauty centers people usually associate with the name when they see it on the high street. This is where the actual labor happens—mixing creams, filling up plastic bottles, and packing them into big brown boxes. The warehouse is quite large and it can get surprisingly cold in the winter months. We have a lot of people working on the assembly lines. It’s a very routine kind of place. Every morning the workers arrive, punch their cards, and the machines start humming. We don't have fancy art on the walls or a lounge for the staff to relax in. We have a basic canteen and some wooden benches. The focus is always on the production schedule and hitting our numbers. We get a lot of big trucks coming in with raw materials and leaving with the finished goods. It’s a bit out of the way from the main city center, so most of us commute together. The rhythm of the factory is what keeps us going. It’s a very practical setup. We make sure the bottles are capped tight and the boxes are taped up well before they go out.
