Remote Coordinator

Our office is at No. 114 on the first floor of Vipul Agora on Mg Road. Gurgaon is always moving fast, and being on Mg Road means there’s always something happening outside. Remote Coordinator is just a handful of us sitting at our laptops, making sure things get organized for people who aren't in the same room. We spend a lot of time on calls and typing out emails. The office isn't very large, so we end up knowing what everyone had for lunch. We have a window that looks out towards the main road, and watching the traffic can be a good way to clear your head for a minute. It’s not a fancy corporate setup with a gym or a cafeteria. We usually just go downstairs to the local stalls when we’re hungry. The air conditioning in the building sometimes makes a rattling noise, but we’ve learned to ignore it. We don’t use a lot of big words or have long meetings about "strategy." We just see what needs to be coordinated, find the right people, and make sure the task gets finished. It’s practical work. Sometimes the days are long when we have to wait for someone in a different time zone to wake up, but we just grab another cup of tea and wait it out. It’s a bit of a walk from the metro, but the exercise is probably good for us at the end of the day.
