Vest Womens Wears is right in the middle of the Shilokhra Main Market, directly opposite Moyam Hospital. It is a busy spot, especially in the evenings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We have been here for a while, selling different types of women's clothes that are practical for everyday use. The shop is small and can get a bit cramped when more than three people are inside at once. We do not have fancy mannequins or bright lights like the big malls do. We just use what we have and focus on the clothes themselves. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or work at the hospital across the street. We have learned what people like over the years—mostly stuff that is comfortable and does not cost too much. It is a lot of work keeping the shelves tidy because people like to pull things out to look at them closely. We do not mind, though. That is just how shopping goes here. My sister and I run the place, and we do everything from the buying to the cleaning. Sometimes we stay late to count the stock or fix a loose button. We do not have a big plan for the future; we just want to keep the shop going and serve the people who walk through our door. It is a simple way to live, and the market vibe keeps us energized.
