We are based over in Gurgaon at Sector-54. Our office is B 001, on the ground floor. Even though Gurgaon is known for its massive glass skyscrapers and fancy malls, our place is a lot more modest. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to stop by without having to navigate a huge lobby or wait for elevators. It’s a decent-sized space, but we’ve filled it up with desks, filing cabinets, and all the usual things you need to run a housing office. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and some project charts we’ve taped up. It’s a practical environment. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders; we are more focused on keeping our records straight and answering the phone. The area around Sector-54 is quite busy, so there’s always the sound of traffic in the background. We have a small corner where we keep the kettle and some biscuits for when we take a break. The light is okay, though we usually keep the blinds down to keep the heat out during the day. We’ve got a small team here, and we all know each other well, so the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk. We just tell people what’s happening with their housing queries and get on with the paperwork. It’s a simple, honest setup in the middle of a fast-moving city that never seems to slow down.
