We’re located at Flat No.-32, House No. 17 in Chakkarpur, which is a part of Gurgaon that’s seen a lot of growth. It’s not one of those big glass towers you see in the newer parts of the city. We’re in a more lived-in area, which we honestly prefer. Unit Construction Co. Pvt. Ltd. is a small operation, and we run things out of this flat. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have all the files and drawings spread out on the table, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our time talking to people on the ground or dealing with the various bits of paperwork that come with construction. Haryana is a busy place for building right now, so there’s always something happening. We don’t really have any fancy mission statements or anything like that to tell you. We just get up, come to the office, and deal with whatever problems need solving that day. Sometimes it’s a delay with materials, other times it’s just the usual back-and-forth with the site managers. We keep things pretty simple here. There’s no dress code, and we usually have a lot of tea while we work. It’s a practical way to run a business. We know the Chakkarpur area well, and while the roads can be a mess sometimes, it’s a good spot for us to be based while we handle our projects.
