Our office is at H 25/1 in DLF City, Phase 1, over in Gurgaon. It’s a pretty well-known area, though it’s changed a lot since we first started out here. Unit Construction Co Pvt. Ltd. is basically run from this spot. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of building things. Gurgaon can be quite a busy and dusty place with all the new stuff going up everywhere, so there is never a shortage of things to look at. Our space is simple. We have some desks, a place to keep our maps and blueprints, and a small area for making coffee. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big shiny building. We just focus on the projects we have on our plate. Some days are spent entirely on the phone, and other days we are out driving to different spots in Haryana to see how the work is progressing. The heat in the summer is no joke here, so we tend to get started early before it gets too bad. We don’t really have any big speeches about what we do. It’s construction work, which means a lot of dirt, a lot of phone calls, and making sure the guys on site have what they need. It’s a straightforward business and we like keeping it that way. We’ve been in this part of DLF for a long time and have seen the whole skyline change around us.
