We are located over in Gurgaon, specifically in the 122001 area of Haryana. Unifreight India Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot for quite some time now. If you’ve ever been through this part of town, you know it gets pretty crowded and loud with all the traffic. Our office is just a plain space where we spend most of our daylight hours. We aren't some big corporate machine with thousands of people; we are just a small team trying to manage the flow of goods. Most of our day is spent on the phone or staring at computer screens, trying to figure out where a certain truck is or why a shipment is running a bit late. It’s a lot of coordination. We handle freight, which sounds simple enough but there are always little hiccups along the way. Someone forgets a form, or a driver gets a flat tire. We just deal with it as it comes. We have our desks cluttered with pens, old notebooks, and tea cups. It’s a real working environment, not something out of a magazine. We know the local roads well and we understand the pace of business here in India. There’s no magic to it, just keeping organized and making sure the crates and boxes get to the right warehouse. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get home at a decent hour. It's just a regular local business.
