Our factory is over in Phase Vi Udyog Vihar. We take up the plots at No. 298, 299, and 300. It’s a pretty large space because we have a lot of items to get through every single day. The area is always busy with workers and trucks moving things around on the road. We make all sorts of clothes here in this building. It’s a lot of noise from the stitching machines and the steam irons. We’ve been at this address for many years now and we've seen the area change. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big industrial block with concrete walls. Inside, though, everyone is busy at their stations. We don't have time for a lot of corporate fluff or unnecessary meetings. We just focus on the production lines and getting the garments packed up into the boxes. Sometimes the deadlines are very tight and we all have to work a bit faster to finish. We don't have a fancy lobby or any air-conditioned waiting rooms. Most of our space is dedicated to the actual work of making clothes. We have a small canteen where we all sit and eat together at lunchtime. It’s a simple environment. We just try to do a solid job on every order that comes through the door. It’s hard work, but we are all used to it by now. The street outside can be a bit of a nightmare for parking trucks, but that’s just how Udyog Vihar is during the day.
