You can find Ndt Trade House Pvt. Ltd. at Plot No 566 in Udyog Vihar. This area is full of big warehouses and corporate blocks, and our plot is right in the middle of it all. The building is a standard concrete structure with a heavy steel gate at the front. Inside, we have a mix of office space and a specialized area for our testing equipment. The floors are painted grey and always show footprints no matter how much we sweep. We spend most of our time looking at monitors or checking the calibration on various machines. It is quiet work, for the most part, except for the hum of the cooling fans. We have a small break room with a kettle that takes forever to boil, but it is where we all gather around mid-morning. The windows look out onto the street where trucks are constantly passing by on their way to the highway. Dealing with the paperwork for the trading side of things takes up a lot of the afternoon. We have stacks of logbooks that go back years, all filled with handwritten notes about different tests and shipments. It is not a flashy job, and the office is not decorated with anything other than a couple of calendars and some safety posters. We just show up, do our checks, handle the trade side, and make sure the gate is locked tight before we leave.
