Arka Textiles

Arka Textiles is located at S-316 in the Tara Complex. We are right near the police station in Udyog Vihar Phase 1. It’s a busy area and parking is always a bit of a nightmare, honestly. We spend a lot of time just moving rolls of fabric from one side of the room to the other. The Tara Complex is an older building, so the elevators are sometimes a bit slow, and we end up taking the stairs. Being in Phase 1 means there are people everywhere at lunchtime. Our office is mostly just stacks of samples and a few old desks. We don't really have a decorator or anything; it’s just how it ended up looking over the years. We handle a lot of textile orders and the phone rings quite a bit with people asking about prices or delivery times. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the quality of the weaves and making sure the colors match what was asked for. The light in the office isn't the best, so we use some extra lamps when we are looking at the fine details. We stay pretty much to ourselves and just focus on the daily tasks. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living in the middle of a big industrial hub. The work is steady and that is all we really want.
