Our place is at 14/27 in DLF 2, right in the Civil Lines area. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been here at U D Architects Pvt Ltd for a good while. The office feels like a second home to most of us because we spend so much time here. It’s not one of those glass-walled places you see in movies. It’s just a regular office with desks that are usually buried under site surveys and material catalogs. We focus on the practical side of building. If a client wants a balcony, we figure out how to make it safe and functional first. We don’t really care for those over-the-top designs that cost a fortune and don't work in real life. We prefer things that people can actually live in or work in without any fuss. Sometimes we get into long debates about the best way to run plumbing or where the sun will hit the windows in the afternoon. It might sound boring to some, but it’s what we do. The staff here is a small group, and we’ve all been together long enough to know how each other thinks. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or big ads. Most of our projects come from word of mouth in the DLF 2 community. We just keep our heads down and get the drawings finished so the builders can actually get to work on the site.
