Our branch is in Gurgaon, and everyone just calls it Tci Gurgaon. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We handle a lot of the transport work for the area as Transport Corportaion Of India Ltd Gurgaon. The office is located in a spot that makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out, which is the main thing we care about. Gurgaon is always growing, so there’s construction everywhere and plenty of noise. We don’t have much in the way of decorations. It’s just white walls, some calendars, and a lot of desks with computers. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the summer months. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking the schedules. It’s a lot of coordination. Sometimes the phones won't stop ringing and it gets a bit stressful, but we manage. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to make sure the goods move from one place to another without any trouble. There’s a tea shop nearby where we usually go for breaks. The staff here are mostly local guys who have been in the transport business for a long time. We know the routes and we know the problems that can come up on the road. It’s a plain, simple operation and we like it that way. We just show up, do the logistics, and go home to our families at night.
