Our place is Transport Corporation Of India Ltd. Old Delhi Road, Opposite Pasco Automobiles, Near Sarole More, Gurgaon-122015. If you know the Old Delhi Road, you know it gets pretty crowded around Sarole More. We are right across from Pasco Automobiles, which is a good landmark for people who haven't been here before. It’s a pretty basic setup. We have the main office area and then the yard where all the real work happens. It’s usually quite hot during the summer months and the dust from the road never really goes away no matter how much we sweep the floors. We don’t really have a lot of time for making things look pretty. It’s a transport hub, after all. Most of the staff here have been around for years, so we’ve seen the traffic patterns change and more shops opening up nearby. We spend our days checking manifests and making sure the drivers know where they are going next. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three or four trucks show up at once, but we manage to get them sorted out eventually. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our snacks, and that’s about as much excitement as we get. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or special. We just work out of this Gurgaon office and try to get through the daily list of tasks without too much trouble. It's just a regular workplace for us, and we keep things moving as best as we can every day.
