We are based at Tci House, which is located at 69 Institutional Area in Sector-32 of Gurgaon. It’s a solid building and Transport Corporation Of India Ltd has been here for quite a while. The office is pretty busy because we have to manage so many things for the transport network. There are rows of desks and plenty of filing cabinets everywhere you look. We aren't into anything flashy. The furniture is practical and the lighting is just standard office lights. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is on their phones at the same time. We have a security guard at the gate who knows all of us by name. In the summer, the heat in Gurgaon is really something else, so we stay inside as much as we can. We deal with all sorts of logistics issues throughout the day. It’s mostly just problem-solving. If a truck is stuck or a document is missing, we have to fix it. We don’t talk about missions or visions; we just talk about getting the work done. People here are friendly enough, and we usually share some tea in the afternoons. It’s a regular office life. We have computers that are a few years old and plenty of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s just a normal place where people work hard and try to do a good job. We’re glad to be in this part of the city.
