We’ve been here in Patel Nagar for a while now, tucked away on Street No- 5 near Mussadilal Jwellers. If you know the Gurgaon area, you probably know how busy it gets around here. Our office at 460/5 is where the Transport Corporation Of India Ltd operates from every day. It’s not a fancy setup with glass walls and coffee machines. Instead, it’s just us, some old desks, and a lot of phone calls. Moving things around the country is basically what we do from morning till the sun goes down. People come in and out, asking about their shipments, and we try to give them straight answers. The traffic on the main road can be a headache sometimes, especially during the rains, but we manage to get through it. My staff and I have been handling transport work long enough to know the routes pretty well. We don’t have a big marketing team writing fancy things for us. This is just a local spot where work gets done. Sometimes the printers jam, or the tea runs out, but the trucks keep moving regardless. We spend most of our time looking at logbooks and talking to drivers who are on the road. It’s practical work. If you find yourself near the jewelry shop, you can spot our sign. We are just regular people trying to keep things moving without too much fuss or complicated talk.
