We run things from House No 604 in Sector-31 over in Gurgaon. It’s a bit different than being in the middle of Delhi, but it has its own kind of busy. Today Homes & Infrastructurs P Ltd is the name on our documents. We aren't a huge outfit, just a group of people who know a thing or two about building and construction. Most of our time is spent coordinating stuff for different sites. Sector-31 is a decent area, and having the office in a house makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a cold office building. We have our desks set up and there is usually a lot of paper everywhere—mostly maps and schedules. It’s not a polished corporate environment. We have our own ways of doing things, usually involving a lot of lists and checking things twice. People in the neighborhood know we’re here. Sometimes the weather in Gurgaon makes things difficult, like when it gets really dusty or way too hot, but the work doesn't stop. We handle the infrastructure side of things, which means a lot of technical talk and figuring out logistics. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a practical way to work. We’ve been at this for some time now and we just keep our heads down and do the job. We try to be fair and keep our word on things.
