Tingwa Tea

Our place is a bit hidden since we are on the lower ground floor at 179-P in Sector 56. You have to walk down a few steps, which actually makes it stay a lot cooler during the summer months when the heat in the city gets really bad. It is not a huge space, but we have made it work for what we need. Being in Sector 56 means there is always something going on outside, but once you come down those stairs, it feels a little more separated from all the traffic and noise. We spend a lot of time just organizing the supplies and checking on things down here. The lighting isn't always the brightest because of being below the street level, but we have put up some lamps to keep it from being too dark. Mostly, it is just us doing the daily chores and waiting on people to drop in after they finish their work in the nearby offices. Some days are busier than others, especially when it rains and people want to get off the wet streets. We do not have a big sign or anything flashy, so it is mostly local people who live or work nearby that know where we are. It is a quiet life down here in the basement of 179-P, just keeping things moving and taking it one day at a time. It isn't much, but it is what we do here at Tingwa Tea. We have been in this basement spot for a good bit now.
