The Spaces

We are over at 1-Ep in Sector-30. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, but we like it that way. We are known as The Spaces, and we work on interiors, so we spend a lot of time thinking about how furniture and walls fit together. Our own office isn't exactly a masterpiece of design, though. It’s mostly just functional. We have stacks of fabric swatches and tile samples everywhere. Sometimes it’s hard to find a clear spot on the table to eat lunch. We aren't a big company with a lot of hierarchy. We all just muck in and do what’s needed. Sector-30 is a good place to be based. It’s central enough that we can get to our sites without too much trouble. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just help people figure out how to make their rooms look better. It involves a lot of measuring and re-measuring because you can never be too sure with old buildings. We’ve got a small radio that plays in the background most of the day. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when a big project is wrapping up, but we manage. We aren't polished or corporate. We are just a group of people who enjoy working with our hands and seeing a room change from start to finish. It is a messy job but someone has to do it, so we do it.
