The Rishabh Velveleen

Our place is at 567 in Udyog Vihar Phase-5. If you’ve ever been to this industrial area, you know it’s a maze of warehouses and manufacturing units. We fit right in with the rest of them. The Rishabh Velveleen is basically a big hall filled with rolls of velvet and other fabrics. It gets quite loud when the machines are running, so we usually have to shout a bit to be heard over the hum. We have trucks coming to the loading dock every morning to drop off raw materials or pick up finished rolls. It is a busy environment and there is always something that needs fixing or moving. The office is just a partitioned corner with a couple of old desks and a computer that has seen better days. We don't worry much about the decor because the focus is always on the production line. The workers here are local, and we have a routine that keeps things moving from Monday to Saturday. In the summer, the heat inside can be quite something, but we just keep the big doors open to let whatever breeze there is come through. It is not a glamorous job, but we take pride in getting the orders out on time without making any big fuss. We’ve been operating in Phase-5 for years and we know the rhythm of the place by heart.
