Technocrats Die Casting (India) Pvt. Ltd. is located at Plot No 135, Sector-3 in Imt Manesar. It’s a pretty busy part of the city, and the traffic around the industrial estate can be a real headache in the mornings. Our shop floor is usually a mess of molds and cooling metal. It’s hot work, especially when the furnaces are going full tilt in the middle of the day. We don't have any corporate offices with air conditioning; we’re mostly out there on the floor with the rest of the crew. We do a lot of die casting, and it takes a bit of a feel to get the timing right. The guys here have thick skin and don't mind the sweat. We keep the tools on big wooden racks and try to keep things moving. There isn't any fancy talk here. We just look at what needs to be cast and we set up the machines to do it. Some of the walls have old calendars hanging on them and the floor is scarred from years of moving heavy crates. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to make sure the castings are solid and ready for when the trucks come to pick them up at the loading bay. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it’s what keeps the lights on at Plot 135.
