Swipetail Ventures Llp is basically just a small group of us working out of B 601 in the La Lagune Apartment complex. If you know Golf Course Road in Sector 54, you know it gets pretty crowded around here during the rush hour. We’ve been based in Gurgaon for a while now. It’s not one of those glass-walled offices you see everywhere; it’s more of a practical setup where we can actually focus on the tasks at hand. We handle different types of projects and ventures, mostly just keeping things organized and making sure the gears keep turning. We don’t really go in for those long meetings that go nowhere or use fancy software for every little thing. Most of the day is just spent on the phone or looking at screens. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and see where it goes. Sometimes it’s a bit of a mess with paperwork piling up on the desks, but we get through it eventually. We aren't looking to change the whole world or anything like that. We just want to do a decent job and stay busy. The traffic on the way to Sector 54 can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually end up staying a bit late just to avoid the worst of it. It’s a simple operation, really. No fancy titles or corporate dress codes here. Just a few people trying to make a go of it in a big city. We’ve had some good days and some tough ones, but that’s just how business is.
