Leather Links

We've been at Sushant Arcade for a while now. It's on the third floor, room 302. People usually find us after wandering around the Phase I area. Most days involve sorting through hides and checking stitches. It's not a fancy office, just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the lift works, sometimes it doesn't, so we take the stairs. The sun hits the windows in the afternoon and it gets pretty warm in here. We spend a lot of time looking at textures and colors. It's just a few of us here. We don't really do big meetings. Usually, someone is on the phone while the others are packing boxes or marking leather sheets. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us. You can smell the leather as soon as you step off the hallway. It’s a strong smell but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep our tools on the long wooden tables. Everything has its place, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. If you're looking for us, we're right there in Sushant Lok. We try to keep the door open when it's nice out. It’s quiet mostly, except for the sound of scissors or the tape dispenser. There's a tea stall nearby that we visit often. The arcade has its own rhythm and we’ve become a part of it. We just focus on the leather and the orders.
