Surya Exim

Surya Exim operates out of 620/22 in Shivji Park. It’s a fairly calm neighborhood, which is a nice change from the chaos of the city center. Our office is a modest space on the ground floor. We’ve got a few desks pushed together and some tall shelves filled with files that go back years. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We don’t have a big corporate structure or any official titles; we all just do whatever needs doing. Some days that means being on the phone for six hours, and other days it means helping load a van. Shivji Park is easy to find, which is good for when we have deliveries coming in. We don't have any fancy carpets or modern furniture. Everything we use is pretty old but it still works. We drink tea several times a day and usually get some snacks from the small shop around the corner. We don't spend money on advertising because we mostly deal with people who have known us for a long time. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to get the orders right and keep things moving. The office can get a bit stuffy in the afternoons, so we usually keep the fans on high. It’s just a regular, honest place to work. We show up every morning and we get the job done.
