Studio De Architects

Studio De Architects is located in DLF City Phase I, specifically in the Saraswati Vihar area at house number 818. It’s a residential part of the city, so it’s much quieter here than in the big commercial hubs. Our office is basically part of the building there, and it feels more like a home-based workspace than a formal corporate office. We like it that way because it’s a lot more relaxed for everyone. There’s no big glowing sign or anything, just the address. Inside, we have our drafting tables and computers where we work on building plans and designs. Being in Saraswati Vihar means we have some trees around and it’s a bit more peaceful when we are trying to think about a new project. We spend a lot of time drawing and measuring things. Sometimes the dog from next door barks while we are on the phone, but that’s just life in a neighborhood like this. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or waiting rooms. If you come by, you just walk in and we talk about whatever project is on the table at that moment. It’s a very direct way of working. Most of our days are spent going between the office and different construction sites to see how things are coming along in person. It’s a lot of work, but we enjoy the process of seeing things get built. It’s just a small group of us here, keeping things simple and focusing on the architecture.
