You can find us at Shop No 313 in Roshan Pura. It’s a small shopfront that we’ve converted into our workspace. Because it was originally a shop, it’s right on the street level, so people can just walk right in from the sidewalk. It gets quite busy with all the foot traffic passing by. We have a couple of desks squeezed into the space and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. It’s not a very large area, so things can get a bit tight when more than three or four people are inside. We’ve been here in Roshan Pura for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. There’s a lot of noise from the street—horns honking and people shouting—but we’ve learned to work through it. Our walls are covered with notices and calendars. We don’t have any fancy lighting, just the regular tubes on the ceiling. It’s a very basic setup, but it’s all we need. We usually have the door open to let in some air, though it also lets in the dust. We spend our time talking to people and filling out forms. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just like being right here where the action is, in the middle of the community, doing our daily bit.
