We are based in A/33 New Jaspark Society over in Isanpur. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit different from being in the middle of a commercial district. We like it because it’s a bit more relaxed. The office is really just a few rooms where we handle all the back-end stuff for the projects. Ahmedabad gets very dusty, so we are always cleaning the desks, but it never seems to stay clean for long. We have a small kitchen in the back where we make chai multiple times a day. It’s the only way to keep everyone moving when the afternoon slump hits. The society is quiet during the day when most people are out at work. We get a lot of phone calls from suppliers and laborers asking for directions since the lane numbering can be a bit confusing. We usually have a lot of blueprints rolled up in the corners of the room. It’s not a fancy place, just somewhere to sit and work through the costs and the schedules. Sometimes we sit out on the small porch if the weather is decent, though that isn't often. We mostly keep to ourselves and focus on the tasks at hand. It is a practical space for practical work, and we don't feel the need to make it look like a showroom. There is always someone here who knows where the spare pens are kept.
