Our place is in Udyog Vihar Phase III, specifically at number 494. This part of Gurgaon is purely industrial, so it’s all factories and big warehouses around us. Sml (Far East) handles a lot of the labeling and branding materials that go onto clothes. If you’ve ever looked at a tag on a shirt, there’s a chance it came through a place like ours. The building is quite large and it’s always humming with the sound of machinery or the air conditioning. It’s a very busy environment. We have trucks coming in and out of the gate all day, which can make the yard a bit of a mess. Inside, it’s mostly rows of workstations and some heavy equipment for the printing and manufacturing. We don’t really do the whole polished corporate look here because this is a working plant. There’s always someone rushing around with a clipboard or a box of samples. We’ve been in Phase III for a long time, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. The heat in the summer can be tough, but we just keep the machines running and get the orders out. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we take it seriously. We just focus on the technical details of the labels and making sure the quality is what it needs to be for the garments. It's a loud, busy, and productive spot.
