Simplex Infrastructures Limited

Our spot for Simplex Infrastructures Limited is right near the Ganesh Mandir in the Ganesh Talai area of Khandwa. Being close to the temple means we hear the morning prayers every day, which is actually a nice, peaceful way to start the morning shift. Madhya Pradesh gets incredibly hot in the summer, so our office here is mostly about staying out of the intense sun while we sort through the logistics and labor schedules. There is a lot of dust from the main road outside, so we are always wiping down the tables and the computer screens. It’s a very simple building without much decoration on the walls. We have a few project maps pinned up and a large calendar that we mark off as the weeks go by. People come and go throughout the day, mostly truck drivers or technicians needing parts or signatures on their forms. We don't have a receptionist in a uniform or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll just see someone sitting at a desk who will probably tell you to wait a minute while they finish a phone call. The tea stall down the road is where we spend most of our breaks. It’s a regular routine for us. We focus on the concrete and the steel we need for the jobs around here. It isn't a glamorous life, but we like the quiet familiarity of this neighborhood and the people who live here.
