Simon Carves India Ltd A Punj Lloyd Company

Simon Carves India Ltd, which is part of the Punj Lloyd Company group, is tucked away in Flat No 217 in the E-Block of Ram Vihar. This is in Sector 30 of Noida. It is a residential-style building so it feels a bit more like a home than a stiff corporate office. We have several rooms filled with desks and a lot of engineering documents. It gets pretty quiet in here because everyone is usually focused on their drawings or calculations. Sector 30 is a nice enough area and it’s easy for us to get to work. We have been at this address for a while and we have a routine that works for everyone. There is a small kitchen where we make tea and talk about things that aren't work related sometimes. We don't have big signs or anything flashy on the door. It’s just a flat where we do our engineering business. The shelves are packed with binders from years of different projects. Noida has grown so much around us but our little corner in Ram Vihar stays about the same. We have a few people who handle the admin and the rest are mostly technical staff. It’s a very low-key environment. We just come in, do our hours, and head home. It’s a practical way to run things without the overhead of a massive glass tower. It suits us well.
