Shweta Apparels

We operate Shweta Apparels out of No. 451-452 in Udyog Vihar Phase-3. This part of Gurgaon is always humming with the sound of factories and vehicles. Our space is pretty much what you would expect from a garment place—rows of machines, big cutting tables, and stacks of fabric everywhere. It’s not the quietest environment, but you get used to the rhythm of the needles after a while. The heat in the afternoon can be quite something, so we have big fans running constantly to keep the air moving. We aren't doing anything fancy here; we just make clothes. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the seams are flat. Lunch breaks are usually spent sitting together and sharing food from home. There’s a certain routine to it that I find quite comforting. We’ve been in Phase-3 for several years now and have seen the buildings around us change quite a bit. The roads out front are always being worked on, it seems. We don't have a polished showroom with mannequins; it’s more of a working floor where the actual making happens. If you walk in, you’ll likely see a bit of lint on the floor and hear the sound of the radio playing in the background. It’s a real working shop and we just try to do our jobs well every day. It keeps us quite busy because there is always a new batch of orders to handle.
