Shri Paras Garments

Shri Paras Garments is tucked away in A-2 of the Jublee Apartments in Sector 15 Part-ii. It is a bit different running a garment business from an apartment building compared to a regular shop. We have to be a bit careful about the noise so the neighbors don't get annoyed with us. The rooms are filled with sewing machines and iron boards instead of regular furniture. We use the living area as the main place for checking the finished pieces and doing the packing. It is a small team we have here and we all know exactly what needs to be done without being told. The balcony is usually full of laundry or fabric scraps that we need to clear out. We don't have a big sign outside so people usually have to call us to find the right door in the apartment complex. It feels more like a home than an office which I think makes the work a bit more relaxed. We have tea together in the kitchen area twice a day and talk about things other than work. The lighting isn't perfect but we have some extra lamps to help with the fine stitching. It is a simple setup but it allows us to focus on the garments without all the distractions of a busy main road. We just do our work quietly and try to get the bundles ready for delivery every weekend when the transport comes.
