Our shop is out on Pataudi Road, in the Gadauli area. We are pretty easy to spot because we are right near the HP Boxer Petrol Pump. If you hit the petrol pump, you’ve basically found us. It is a dusty road with a lot of trucks moving back and forth all the time. We have been operating here for a few years now. The yard is usually full of materials and the office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the books. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. We deal with a lot of different people, from truck drivers to local builders. Most of our day is spent outside or handling stuff that comes in on the lorries. It gets hot in the summer, and the dust from the road covers everything, but we are used to it by now. We are a small crew, just a couple of guys working together. We don't have any big corporate rules, we just handle things as they come. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the birds. We just stay here, keep an eye on the stock, and make sure things get loaded and unloaded properly. It’s a simple life, focused on the trade and staying on top of the daily tasks without any extra drama. We just get on with it.
